The Citizens Police Academy, hosted by the El Dorado Police Department, is an engaging community program designed to give residents an inside look at law enforcement operations. This interactive experience provides participants with firsthand knowledge of an officer’s daily responsibilities, along with demonstrations of the department’s advanced technologies and capabilities.

Attendees will meet weekly to take part in a variety of hands-on activities, including DWI investigations, traffic stops, SWAT operations, and crime scene analysis.
